I really enjoyed finding Canadi-Anna's blog, which reminds me that with all the appalling things neo-cons have done to this country in recent years, it's been a long time since I've encountered a genuine conservative.
Anna is a Canadian who is so conservative that, not only does she want to preserve the authority of the office of Governor-General, not only does she want to keep the ties to the British monarchy, but she even wants to discard the Maple Leaf flag in favor of the old Red Ensign. Now that's conservatism.
Compare with the USAn variety, who tend to be more like this.
